Do you have a treasured heirloom that has been passed down from a previous relative or family member? Did you collect as a kid and still have your childhood shoe box collection from the 1950s? Did you find a treasure at a flea market/swap meet and have always wondered what it is worth?
Baseball in the Attic has been actively appraising Pre-1970 sportscards and memorabilia (all sports) since 1997 and they will be at the DeKalb Public Library this Saturday, June 28th, 2014 from 10am to 1pm. The first 45 minutes of the program will be a presentation on the history of card collecting. The next 45 minutes, Baseball in the Attic will appraise any vintage sports collectible. Sign up online by going to the library’s website to register your item(s). Please list how many items you will be bringing or if it is part of a collection. You do not need to register if you are just attending the event and do not have an item to appraise. The Vintage Sports Appraisals will be beld at the DeKalb Public Library, 309 Oak St. in DeKalb this Saturday.
