The folks connected with the Green Lens Environmental Film Festival present Upcycling Craft Parties in downtown DeKalb this fall. Turn your trash into holiday treasures! Your $10 donation to attend these parties will support the Green Lens Environmental Film Festival. Come for the crafts, stay for the drinks. Tapa La Luna’s famous bartender Rob D. will be serving up green-themed drink specials that you can purchase during the parties.
This Tuesday, November 19th is Boxes to Brooches at Tapa La Luna from 5:00-6:30 PM. Mary will show you how to turn all that cardboard around your house into wearable art. Boring old boxes will become brooches, barrettes, bracelets, and more.
