To assist local residents with transportation to Kishwaukee College to register for the upcoming Spring semester, TransVAC will be running special bus service on January 13 and 14 from DeKalb to the campus in Malta. The cost per ride is $2.00; bus passes will not be accepted on special service days.
On January 13 and 14, the TransVAC bus will run its regular Kishwaukee College routes in DeKalb with pick-up times beginning at 8:00a.m., 9:00a.m., 10:00a.m., and 1:00p.m. The bus will depart campus for return service to DeKalb at 8:50a.m., 9:50a.m., 10:50a.m., 12:50p.m., 1:50p.m., and 2:50p.m. To view or download a bus route map, visit https://www.kishwaukeecollege.edu/services-misc/public-transportation and select the Fall/Spring Semester “Day FA/SP ticket” option.
Registration for the Spring 2016 semester is currently in progress and the semester will begin on January 19. In addition to the special bus service, the Admissions, Registration and Records Office (ARR) at Kishwaukee College will be holding additional registration events in January to accommodate students.
On Thursday, January 14, counselors will be available in Room C1118 from 4 – 6:00p.m. in the Student Center for students who have applied and taken placement tests but would like additional registration assistance.
On Saturday, January 16 from 9:00a.m. – 1:00p.m., ARR, Financial Aid, Business Office and Counseling and Student Development Offices will be open to assist students. All Student Services offices are located in the Student Center on the second floor. Appointments for the placement tests appointments are available at 9:00a.m. on this day to accommodate students who need to take Placement Exams. Testing Services is located in Room A1300.
