The Sandwich High School music department will present the eighth annual Terror in the Timber haunted trail to raise money for its music programs this coming Friday and Saturday. More than 75 people will be deep in the woods ready to scare and torment visitors. A hayride will begin and end the journey. In the middle will be a 20-minute walk deep into the creepy woods.
Terror in the Timber will be held from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24 at Sannauk Woods on Route 34 between the Sandwich Airport and Somonauk Road in Somonauk. A less scary twilight performance for children will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24. Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children younger than 10.
