The inaugural TruckTober Fest event hosted by the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary Club recently held on September 24 was a great success! The Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary extend their gratitude to the community for supporting this fun, family-friendly event at Faranda’s. All donations collected at this event went directly to support the Rotary’s Community Grant for Children, Youth, and Families. Grant funds are distributed to local organizations that have projects which positively impact the lives and well-being of children, youth, and families. This year’s grant recipients include the DeKalb County Community Gardens and the DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau.
