Over the past twenty-six years the Sandwich Association of Merchants have organized the “Taste of Sandwich” and Craft Show in downtown Sandwich, IL which runs in conjunction with the Sandwich Festival of Crafts show at the Sandwich Fairgrounds held annually every September. This event brings thousands of people to Sandwich each year to purchase crafts which consequently brings business to the community including retail stores, antique shops, restaurants and gas stations.
The annual Taste of Sandwich and Lions Club Cruise Night will be held this Wednesday, September 27, held downtown from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. See some old classic cars in downtown Sandwich at the Veteran’s Park Railroad Street. Music will be provided by Carousel Sound Company. Awards will be given out and everyone can get in on the Raffles. Enjoy the anticipated 100 or more entries on display!
Visit shops, enjoy a treat, shop for gifts or just “window-shop.” Area businesses, banks, service groups, churches, the Sandwich Park District and the City of Sandwich will be providing tasty treats as folks walk around the town of Sandwich.
The annual craft shows run this Thursday, September 29, held downtown, city-wide and at the Sandwich Fairgrounds. The three locations are:
