Over the past twenty-five years the Sandwich Association of Merchants have organized the “Taste of Sandwich” and Craft Show in downtown Sandwich, IL which runs in conjunction with the craft show at the Sandwich Fairgrounds held annually every September. This event brings thousands of people to Sandwich each year to purchase crafts which consequently brings business to the community including retail stores, antique shops, restaurants and gas stations.
The annual Taste of Sandwich and Lions Club Car Show will be held this Wednesday, September 28, held downtown from 5pm – 8pm. See some old classic cars in downtown Sandwich at the Veteran’s Park Railroad Street. Music will be provided by Carousel Sound Company. Awards will be given out and everyone can get in on the Raffles. Enjoy the anticipated 100 or more entries on display!
The annual craft shows run this Thursday, September 29, held downtown, city-wide and at the Sandwich Fairgrounds. The three locations are:

Large tents will be erected in parking lot No. 1. Tables will be placed between the tents for seating. East Railroad Street will be closed from Main Street to Clark Street for the car show.
The city will be taking part in the Taste of Sandwich, with most of the city officials indicating they’ll help serve food.
