Group leaders Brian Wedoff and Kristopher Miller, from the Target Distribution Center, DeKalb, stopped by the KishHealth System Cancer Center on Sept. 30, with a check for $3,500, which they presented to Debra Bemis, director of KishHealth System Oncology Services and Marcy Rubic, executive director of KishHealth System Foundation.
The donation will benefit KishHealth System’s cancer support programs.
Bemis said, “We appreciate Target’s ongoing support of the Cancer Center to provide programs for those impacted by cancer. The programs offer support, education, and opportunities to develop friendships. Cancer survivors and their families experience many stressors while going through cancer treatment and following treatment. These programs are there to help them cope.”
“Making the foundation a priority with Target Corporation’s annual giving ensures that our guests and team members know that we are committed to wellbeing initiatives that impact everyone,” said Wedoff. “The goal of our partnership with the KishHealth System Cancer Center is to touch as many people in need of resources as possible and bring hope to those going through difficult times.”
