Hot ribs, cold beer and live music… what else could you possibly want on a warm, summer evening?
This year, there will be MORE ribs, MORE beer, MORE space, and MORE live music at the 3rd Annual Sycamore Ribs Rhythm & Brews Fest held this Saturday, August 26 from 5:00 to 11:00pm in downtown Sycamore on Somonauk Street and City Lot 1.
RR&B Fest consists of award-winning rib vendors from across the region, craft beer, and crowd-pleasing musical entertainment from headliner, Back Country Roads with opening act Johnny & The Boomers.
Sample a variety of craft beer from Euclid Beverage and Sycamore’s own Forge Brew House. Delicious ribs and side dishes will be served up by multiple vendors who will compete for the title of 2017 RR&B Fest Champion, won last year by Sycamore Country Store and Catering .
Back Country Roads have played at events such as Country Thunder and opened for national acts such as Phil Vassar, Darryl Worley, David Lee Murphy, Neal McCoy, Steel Magnolia, Keith Anderson and Easton Corbin. They play mostly current Top 40 Country hits, with a few older selections and some originals in the mix as well. Johnny & The Boomers will be opening the festival playing Chicago blues and rock ‘n roll favorites.
Plan to come out Saturday for an excellent day of Ribs, Rhythm and Brews in Sycamore!!

Todd McDonald

Can’t wait Tony Bomar!

Still nit really right in my book

It’s packed usually, no problems with it being at the same time as Cornfest.

It’s strange that the town down the road would hold an event at the same time as Cornfest…

Agreed, bad timing.
