This Tuesday, February 28 at 4pm, the Sycamore Park District will break ground on the highly anticipated 25-acre recreation campus. The site is located across Airport Road from the current Sports Complex and includes a new community center, dog park, sled hill and splashpad as well as an outdoor amphitheater and patio.
The public is invited to attend. Please park at the Sycamore Park District Sports Complex, 435 Airport Road. The ceremony will take place across the street at the site of the future recreation campus. This site represents four of the seven projects that make up ACTION 2020, the Sycamore Park District’s long-range plan to provide residents with the recreational opportunities they seek, need and deserve. In addition to a community center, splashpad, dog park and sled hill, other ACTION 2020 projects will bring two new biking trail connections, a soccer complex followed by six new baseball fields and a new irrigation system at the Sycamore Park District Golf Club.

Still wait for the park to be built in the Reston ponds subdivision. Only been waiting 12 years in one of the highest tax basis in the city.
