There is lots going on in Sycamore this weekend! We’ve already written about the Sycamore Pumpkin Fest and the Sycamore Music Boosters’ Autumn Craft & Treasures Market going on during it. Craft and Rummage Sale goers will enjoy lots of private garage sales and group sales going on during the weekend as well.
The DeKalb County 4-H Foundation is sponsoring a new annual 4-H Thrift Sale at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau building in Sycamore on Saturday from 8am – 2pm. Items available to purchase included gently used clothing for all ages, toys, games and household items. All proceeds will benefit the local 4-H program. The DeKalb County Farm Bureau is located at 1350 West Prairie Drive in Sycamore.
There will also be a Rummage Sale being held in Sycamore to raise money for St. Johns Lutheran Church’s Compassion Fund and Refugee Help Fund which were both recently depleted in order to help those in need in our community. There will be items for everyone from newborn to 100. Many new items at much discounted prices, including Tupperware, that you can use as gifts with the Holidays fast approaching.
A donation box will also be available for those wishing to donate but not purchase anything, or to just leave your change. Any amount is sincerely appreciated. St. Johns Lutheran Church is located at 26555 Brickville Rd. in Sycamore.
