Sweets4Troops Chairman Michael Embrey was interviewed today (Friday) by Rockford TV Reporter Brittany Toolis on how and why the organization got started. Brittany has done stories on Veterans in the past and has several veteran friends. She was excited to tell the story of the success of Sweets4Troops and the growth of the program as well as the mission of the organization. Sweets4Troops wants your leftover Halloween candy to send to troops overseas
Another positive event happened yesterday when the national TV Show “Kelly & Ryan” mentioned what to do with leftover Halloween Candy and said donate your sweets to troops. Several people googled “Sweets for Troops” and found our web site and we have had calls from people in several states wanting to donate. Thank you for your support.
