Adventure Works presents the 4th Annual Barn-B-Que, 5-9 p.m. Saturday, June 24. This year they are excited to be hosting the event at Jonamac Orchard for the first time. They’ll start with a cocktail hour and appetizers in Jonamac’s new Cider House with a cash bar by Fatty’s Pub and Grille.
Dress casual, gather your friends and join them at this pristine indoor/outdoor venue to enjoy a delicious meal served by Hick’s BBQ and Tinez Tacos food trucks, capped off with Jonamac’s famous pies and Culver’s custard. They’ll have live music, outdoor games, raffles, a silent auction and a little taste of Adventure!
Tickets are $40 per person. Get your tickets now before they sell out and join the fun at Jonamac Orchard, 19412 Shabbona Rd, Malta, IL. Purchase tickets at the Egyptian Theatre Box Office, Tuesday’s 2 p.m – 6 p.m. and Thursday’s 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. or online here! Adults only please.
All proceeds support our work with youth in our community.
Adventure Works is an outdoor behavioral health organization serving youth ages 6-18 in our community. A proven alternative to talk therapy, their weekly group sessions are clinically led, utilizing the natural environment and adventure-based experiences to promote positive changes in behavior. Our mission is to assist youth in overcoming challenges and becoming healthy adults through adventure-based counseling.
“Having fun while learning to become a better person is unique. Adventure Works offers this to my son. He looks forward to these outings all week. Great program.” From the mother of a 16-year-old male with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and social skill deficits.
What could be better than a warm summer evening party with friends, fun and great food that supports the youth of our community? See you there!

Tickets available at the door?
They need to get numbers to the caterers before the event Evelyn, but you can contact Kathy at kathy@adventureworksdekalb.org and she can take your reservation if you send her the $ and put the tickets on the will-call list for you.
