Stage Coach Players (SCP) continues to “Spark Hope” this season as they once again be collecting food for and household items giving away fabric if you are looking to create your own masks on the second and fourth Tuesdays for the foreseeable future. The collection to be held on Tues., Feb. 23, 2021 will run from 4to 6 p.m. and be held in the theatre’s back parking lot. The address is 126 S. 5th Street in DeKalb.
SCP will continue its partnership with Safe Passage, DeKalb County’s only Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Crisis Center. SCP will be collecting household items, hygiene items, hair products, cleaning supplies and gift cards. This week’s food donations will benefit Spartan Food Mart. Spartan Food Mart provides Sycamore school district families with nutritional support and community connections to empower our learners and students be healthy and successful in their world. SCP will be accepting paper products, non-perishable items such as canned meat, vegetables and fruit along with boxed food and items in plastic containers. Please no glass containers.
