The public is cordially invited to “Spring into Somerset” Open House this Wednesday and Thursday, March 10 and 11, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Somerset Farm is a 55-plus condominium community located just west of the intersection of Bethany Road and Somonauk Road in Sycamore. To simply call it a retirement community doesn’t give the residents their proper due.
“My customers are moving in to a new chapter in their life,” explained builder Brian Grainger. “Some say they’re just now deciding what they want to be when they grow up. But they’ve earned a lifestyle without the hassles of the property maintenance issues of living in a detached single family home.”
Somerset Farm of Sycamore offers ranch-style condos with no stairs. Each of the four units has the look and feel of a detached single family ranch home due to the meticulous design for privacy. Some models have basements. Some don’t.
Every unit can be customized including the floor plan and includes Andersen Windows, Kohler Fixtures, Crown Molding and beautiful Wainscoting.
Privacy is an in demand feature at Somerset Farm but it is indeed a tight-knit community. The Club House is often the host for special events for community members and a place for friendships among neighbors.
“Linda Tillis and I look forward to chatting with anyone interested in becoming part of the Somerset Farm community at our Open House event,” said Grainger. “These are extremely well-built ranch condos customized to suit the needs and wants of people who want peace and comfort at home while they continue to expand on their horizons.”
