On Monday: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone & Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets; Tuesday: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban & Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire; Wednesday: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix & Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and on Thursday: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 & Part 2. All of the movies are free to attend! The Sycamore Library is located at 103 E. State St. in Sycamore.
It’s Spring Break in Sycamore this week so it’s also Spring Break at the Sycamore Library and at the Museum! The Sycamore Library will be hosting a Harry Potter Movie Marathon from Monday, March 23 through Thursday March 26 from at 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm each day. Two movies each day beginning at 12:00 pm!
The Midwest Museum of Natural History will be hosting special events all week long, Monday, March 23rd through Saturday, March 28th. Below is a list of things to do at the Museum this coming week:
Monday, March 23 – free spring-themed craft with admission
Tuesday, March 24 – create your own bird feeder, free with admission
Wednesday March 25 – free spring-themed craft with admission
Thursday, March 26 – animal encounter at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm
Friday, March 27 – create your own bird feeder, free with admission
Saturday, March 28 – Spring Break Luau: Music and Dance of the Pacific
Finish off the week with the Spring Break Museum Luau: Music and Dance of the Pacific on Saturday, March 28, from 12-3 pm. Shake off winter and enjoy their concert event featuring hula byHalau Hula ‘O Puanani and music by Hoapili. Enjoy Polynesian crafts and taste the islands with incredible food from Ono Kine Grindz. Join the fun and learn the hula during audience participation. Nonmembers: Admission + $3, Members: FREE
All events held at the Midwest Museum of Natural History, 425 W. State St. in Sycamore. Admission is $8 for Adults; Children (2-12): $5; and Seniors (62+): $5.
