The DeKalb Human Relations Commission (HRC) has scheduled a special meeting for Thursday, February 18 at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting, which has been called to discuss the outpouring of public input regarding the City’s approach to public assemblies, will be held at City Hall in the second floor Council Chambers.
At its last meeting, the HRC heard nearly three hours of discussion regarding public assemblies within the City of DeKalb.
This meeting followed a referral from the City Council on a proposed ordinance regarding unlawful assemblies within the City.
