Indian Valley Theatre is getting ready for the 126th annual Sandwich Fair, with its classic and comedic Melodrama performances. This year, audiences will be treated to TWO melodramas chock full of puns and jokes galore – and local talent is needed to fill all roles.
IVT Melodrama’s offer a fun and easy way to break into theatre, as no experience is required and the only skill needed is the ability to have fun! Men, women and a few younger kids (school age) will be needed to fill these roles so hitch up the horses and bring the entire family to audition!
HOW STONEY GULCH GOT STOLEN is the story of a major mystery in the town of Stony Gulch. Things keep disapearin’ – and soon the whole town might be gone. No one knows who to blame – or do they? ZORRO’S BACK IN TOWN OR THE CURSE OF BUCK BADUM is the tale of cheated townsfolk, the deed to the Tottering Mine Shaft and of course our hero, Zorro! Both productions will feature heroes, villains, damsels in distress and lots and lots of fun! Don’t miss out!
Auditions are next Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 1-4pm and Monday, July 1 from 7-9pm. Auditions are held at the Sandwich Opera House Community Room. No appointment is necessary. Performances will be held during the 2013 Sandwich Fair, September 4-8. For more information visit www.indianvalleytheatre.com. Indian Valley Theatre is an Illinois Not-For-Profit Organization dedicated to appreciation and development of performing arts in the Fox Valley Community.
