Join in for a fun and enjoyable bike ride through DeKalb and Kane Counties and support the historic Egyptian Theatre at the same time. The Annual Ride Like An Egyptian fundraising ride will be held this Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 starting at 6:30am.
Since the ride starts and ends at the Egyptian Theatre, you will have the opportunity to explore this historic landmark. This bike ride offers four mix-n-match 25-mile loops. All participants will be provided with route maps and all routes will be marked with signs.
There will be great SAG support on all loops and a well-stocked central rest stop. Bike at your own speed, this is not a race. All ages are welcome, however, those under the age of 16 must ride with a participating parent or guardian. There will be an end-of-ride meal provided for registered riders. Meal will feature soup, sandwiches, and refreshments.
Registration costs $30 for adults and $10 for children under 16. T-shirts can be purchased for $10 each. The historic Egyptian Theatre is located at 135 N. 2nd Street in downtown DeKalb.
