The community is invited to the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s first annual Family Fun Day fundraiser event this Saturday, August 9th, 2014, at the Sycamore Community Park, 940 E. State St. in Sycamore. The entire park will be available for KSO friends and family starting at 3:00 pm Saturday. The event will feature a variety of activities, including live musical entertainment, a bouncy house, a climbing wall, face painting, a magician and use of the park’s tennis and volleyball courts, bags games and horseshoe pits. Activity passes are $5 for all ages. A reduced admission fee for the park’s swimming pool and golf course is also available.
The evening will feature a gourmet picnic dinner, with indoor and outdoor seating available, a silent auction and raffle items for adults and children. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a “Gourmet Picnic with the KSO” (indoor or outdoor seating) catered by the Sycamore Park, Kishwaukee Symphony Associates, and Culver’s.
A social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., and the picnic is set for 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the event (though the number of seats is limited for the dinner); tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children. More detailed information on the event, including becoming a sponsor and how to obtain activity and dinner tickets in advance, is available here.
