Northwestern Medicine – Kishwaukee Hospital is proposing to construct a health & wellness center on property located at 626 E. Bethany Road in unincorporated DeKalb Township (P.I.N. 08-01-300-019 & 08-12-126-003). However, the proposed center would be approximately 111,105 square feet in gross floor area, rather than the maximum 20,000 square feet as allowed in the BC, Business Conservation District. In order to allow the center, a Variation must be granted from the maximum gross floor area requirement. Before a Variation can be granted, a public hearing must be held before the DeKalb County Hearing Officer.
Northwestern Medicine – Kishwaukee Hospital has requested such a Variation from the DeKalb County Zoning Ordinance for the property located at 626 E. Bethany Road.
A public hearing will be held by the DeKalb County Hearing Officer this Thursday, February 9, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in the DeKalb County Administration Building, East Conference Room, south entrance, 110 E. Sycamore St., Sycamore, IL 60178.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend and be heard, as this will be the only opportunity for public input on the application. The application for Variation, Petition DK-17-2, is available for inspection at the DeKalb County Planning and Zoning Department, 110 E. Sycamore Street, Sycamore, IL, (815) 895-7188.
