If you took the GED test at Kishwaukee College in the past two years, and just barely failed, check again…because you may have passed after all.
The school says GED has lowered the passing score for tests taken between January 1st, 2014 and the present; a passing score is now 145 instead of 150, and anyone who fell in that range will have their records automatically updated to show that they passed.
MyGED is the online center for the test; it will send an automatic e-mail to all test-takers whose scores have been affected. But these messages will only go to the email addresses in the system at the time a student took the test; if you have changed your address since then, you will have to go to their website for confirmation.
Log in to www.GED.com and follow the prompts, or contact scorechange@gedtestingservice.com with your name and GED ID number for a confirmation letter. It may take some time for the retroactive scores to show up on the website.
If you’ve passed, then you can obtain an equivalency certificate or transcripts through the Regional Office of Education; they should be available beginning in mid-March.

when was the last time any of you took one?
A fire hydrant can score 150.
If you can’t pass the GED, how are you going to pass college classes? Have they dumbed down the classes as well?
Lol for best results, lower the standards!
Ommfg! Those tests were already easy as hell, and now they’re even easier? Wow, I just can’t handle the stupid being allowed to roam free.

It’s a challenging test and 30% of high school graduates would fail. I hope the college does the right thing and contacts those who would qualify!
