The DeKalb Park District is hosting the 2nd Annual POLARpalooza Winter Festival on Saturday, February 6th from 11am-4pm, at Lions Park and River Heights Golf Course. This family-oriented event is FREE and includes activities such as ice skating, a snow sculpting demonstration, and winter-themed crafts. The Park District is seeking donations of ice skates (especially youth sizes) to support access to ice skating during the event. Ice skates can be donated at the Sports and Recreation Center, 1765 S. 4th Street in DeKalb.
