Painting Fundraisers Offered at Women’s Center

The DeKalb Area Women’s Center (DAWC), a 501(c) (3) non-profit, is hosting painting parties for groups and individuals as a fundraiser to restore their historic building. You will be guided through creating your own masterpiece in a fun and social setting. No art experience required.

The first date currently available are Saturday June 18th, from 2pm-5pm, BYOB and cheese plate provided.  Other dates available include Saturdays July 9, July 16 or July 30 from 9am-Noon, tea/coffee and pastries provided. DAWC will be painting Mary Cassatt’s Lilac in a Window.

The group rate of 10 or more is $25 dollars per person or $30 for individuals without a group. This fee includes all your supplies, refreshments, and your very own painting to take home with you. Contact DAWC at 815-758-1351 or dawc@niu.edu for information.
