Join NIU’s STEM Cafe for a night of casual dining and science where NIU Instructor Melissa Burlingame and DeKalb County Community Garden’s founder Dan Kenney will discuss the promises and challenges of today’s local food movement.
The event will be held at Fatty’s Pub and Grille, 1312 W. Lincoln Hwy in DeKalb this Tuesday, April 11th from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. The public is invited to participate. Community members involved in local food initiatives or businesses are welcome to bring fliers and brochures for an information table.
