Making time out to de-stress and laugh, create, relax and have fun is essential in having a successful semester.
That’s why NIU campus partners are teaming up to host HowtheHealthareyouNIU? – a free wellness and mental health fair from 2 to 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Holmes Student Center.
Activities and demonstrations are planned for all interests.
Get creative with expressive art activities, Snapchat photo ops, Poetic Asylum and dance moves from “Nimbus.” Relax with chair massages, therapy dogs and food demonstrations.
NIU students who attend will have a chance to win prizes from Intercollegiate Athletics, Chipotle, the Huddle, Northern Rehab and Pita Pete’s.
Sponsors are Campus Recreation, Counseling & Consultation Services, the Couple and Family Therapy Clinic, Community Counseling Training Center, Psychological Services Center, Health Services, Wellness Promotion, Family Consumer & Nutrition Sciences and Living Rite.
