Malta High School graduate, Justin Allen, who went on to play basketball at Arizona State University and then play professionally for 5 years in 8 different countries, is in town this weekend running a ‘On The Rise Basketball Camp’ this weekend at Sycamore High School.
Justin says, “We run our camps with the bigger picture attached: that basketball is a vessel to develop along ones journey. The game can be used to learn valuable life skills, earn an education, and even a career as kids chase their passion. I know first hand as I went from Malta to Tempe, Az and graduated college, overcome a cancer battle, and traveled the world all because of a game I love.”
Professional level basketball trainers will help your child develop fundamentals and advanced fundamentals using innovative and focused training techniques using their ‘360 degree view of training. On The Rise Basketball Camp is presented by Passion4ball and PJF Performance.
The camp will be held at the Field House at Sycamore High School, Spartan Trail, Sycamore, this Saturday March 28th and Sunday March 29th, 2015. Registration will be from 11:30AM – 12:00PM. Camp will run from 12:00PM – 3:00PM. Group 1: 4th – 8th Grade; Group 2: High School. Price for one day of Camp: $59.95; two days of Camp: $90.
