The office will be open: Monday through Thursday, from 9 am to 8 pm, Fridays from 9 am to 7pm, Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm, and Sundays from noon to 6 pm.
The 111,000-square-foot wellness center located at 626 East Bethany Road in DeKalb will house modern cardio and strength equipment, an indoor walking track, a gymnasium, full-service locker rooms with spas, saunas and steam rooms, a 25-yard lap pool, a warm water therapy pool, and a kids’ zone for children 6 months to 11 years old.
“We are very excited about the wellness center opening. It will be a wonderful addition to our community,” says Dawn Roznowski, director of Northwestern Medicine Community Health Services.
As a medically integrated fitness center, the Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Health & Wellness Center will offer services focused on fitness and health maintenance including medical fitness programs, personalized exercise plans, personal training, group classes and specialty programs.
The center is scheduled to open in late fall. A grand opening and wellness event will be held later this year. Nice for the area.
I hope they accept Silver Sneakers. Otherwise I’m sticking with the Y, which has done a great job in our community for many years.
Does it have a pool?
yes
Daryl Cook thank you i was hoping so. I will have to check out membership prices thou.. The Y is to high and only allows swimming at a certain time and days.
How much does a membership cost?
Thatâs exactly what I was wondering. Probably a lot if they are not saying ð
I emailed and they wouldn’t tell me without going in for a meeting. I’ll stay at the Y, felt like o was buying a timeshare!
There are different plans, but they are waiving some fees for foundation members.
