Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists Expands in Sandwich – Kapper Physical Therapy is Now Part of Northern Rehab

Kimberly Kapper, Physical Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist, remains on staff at Northern Rehab’s new Sandwich location.

Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists is pleased to announce that Kapper Physical Therapy in Sandwich, Illinois is now part of Northern Rehab. The addition of this branch office allows Northern Rehab to extend its service area to provide high quality physical therapy to Southern DeKalb County and the greater Sandwich community. Northern Rehab has been providing physical therapy to the DeKalb area since 1978 and now includes 11 physical therapists working in 5 locations in Northern Illinois including Sandwich. Northern Rehab is privately-owned and operated by physical therapists that live and work in the communities they serve.

Physical Therapist Kimberly Kapper remains on staff as the branch manager, bringing over 15 years of experience as a Certified Hand Specialist and over 25 years experience as a physical therapist. She has a strong clinical background including rehabilitating patients following fractures, carpal tunnel, and post-surgery, with emphasis on disorders of the wrist, elbow, shoulder, and neck. Kim has been practicing in Sandwich for over 10 years and is excited to join with Northern Rehab to enhance her ability to serve the physical therapy needs of the Sandwich community.

Rob Larkins, physical therapist and partner with Northern Rehab, will join Kim at the Sandwich Northern Rehab location to provide physical therapy services for a wide variety of conditions including orthopaedic conditions, industrial medicine, sports injury rehab, and post-operative care.

The Sandwich location will open under Northern Rehab’s management on November 13. Located at 523 E. Railroad Street in Sandwich, the clinic offers the same excellent one-on-one patient care under a new name. New patients are always accepted and a variety of insurance is accepted.
