Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists is hosting a Community Collection for Safe Passage in DeKalb from April 1- 18. Community members are encouraged to donate essential items to help individuals and families affected by domestic violence.
Donations can be dropped off at any Northern Rehab location in DeKalb (3266 Sycamore Road), Genoa (540 E. Main Street) and Rochelle (1211 Currency Court) during business hours. Items most needed include shampoo and conditioner for all types of hair, children’s body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, new bath and hand towels, new twin sized blankets for children and adults, new flip flops – all sizes, new women and children’s underwear – all sizes, new sports bras – all sizes, phone chargers, earbuds/headphones, and gift cards to Walmart, Walgreens or gas cards to assist with medication and transportation needs.
Safe Passage is DeKalb County’s only domestic violence crisis center, providing vital resources, shelter, and support to those in need. By participating in this collection drive, the community can make a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors.
