The 35th Annual IDEAg Northern Illinois Farm Show will be held this Wednesday and Thursday, January 11th and 12th at the NIU Convocation Center in DeKalb. The DeKalb area is a convenient venue for producers in all of Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Eastern Iowa to meet with over 200 agribusinesses under one roof. This is Midwest farmers’ chance to visit with the top agribusinesses of the area and participate in discussions on everything from weather preparedness to weed management decisions.
The Illinois Department of Agriculture will also conduct its annual Pesticide Applicator Training on both Wednesday and Thursday. See below for a full schedule of events during the Show. Hours are Wednesday, Jan 11: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Thursday, Jan 12: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.. Admission is free, $5/car for parking. The NIU Convocation Center is located at 1525 W. Lincoln Hwy. in DeKalb.
