Seeking information on weight loss? Smoking cessation? Healthy meals? NIU’s annual Wellness Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, in the Duke Ellington Ballroom and Capitol Room of the Holmes Student Center.
Sponsored by the Employee Assistance Program, the fair and its more than 80 vendors provide information regarding all aspects of health and overall well-being for employees, students, retirees and members of the community.
Visitors can enjoy chair, hand and BioMat massage sessions; blood pressure, glucose and general health checks; vision and hearing tests; strength, balance and flexibility test; and more. Get information on weight loss, smoking cessation, environmental health, understanding disease, wellness tips and strategies and healthy meal options. Visitors can also sample products and food, play games and participate in a seated Reiki session.
