The meeting for the DeKalb Township Board will be held at the DeKalb Township County Building located at 2323 South 4th Street on Tuesday, August 18 at 7:00 PM.
The DeKalb Township Board has received approval for their Annual Meeting from the Health Department to provide social distancing.
Per the DeKalb County Health Department’s recommendations, Township Officials will be complying with and enforcing the following measures:
• Placement of seats must adhere to 6 feet distance.
• All attendees (including those hosting the meeting) required to wear masks.
• All attendees required to maintain social distancing.
• When handwashing is not available, hand sanitizer must be placed in prominent locations.
NOTE: The meeting cannot exceed 50 attendees; this depends on the space permitting the social distancing of 6 feet.
Post signs and remind individuals they should not attend the meeting if they have a fever, symptoms of COVID-19 or have had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. The most common signs of illness are fever over 100°F, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, body aches, sore throat, or the recent loss of taste or smell.
Maintain an attendance list with contact information in the event of an exposure.
Sanitize surfaces before and after Annual Town Meeting using CDC approved disinfectants.
