Grab the family and come out to the Annual Malta Days Festival this weekend, June 5th – 7th, 2015. Everyone will enjoy the soundstage, carnival, bingo, food, craft fair, beer garden, parade, car show, craft art and vendor show and more ! The festivities take place at Malta’s Lion’s Park, 409 N Fourth Street, in Malta.
There will be Sound Stage entertainment, food vendors and a Beer Garden all weekend long! Make sure to come out to the area’s first Summer Festival of the year. The organizer’s say, “You don’t get this much entertainment in your own backyard ever!”

- Pancake Breakfast at the Fire Station Saturday, June 6th 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Door Prizes and Raffles, come support the Fire Department and maybe win some cool stuff!

Silver Creek Band 5:00 p.m. -8:30 p.m.
Classic Country, Southern Rock, Contemporary Country Bluegrass a local favorite.
Snap Shot Rock 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The band is all about having a good time. It’s very important to Snapshot that people know when they come to a show, they are going to enjoy themselves and rock out to the songs they love to hear. This year Gary Scofield, formerly of Hi-Infidelity and Evolution, joined the band, and Mike Mathy came back after taking a year off. Blue-Collar Rebellion 1:oo p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
A country band from northern Illinois focused on delivering good honest country music the way it should be. Along with our original songs we primarily cover Red Dirt and traditional country music with a touch of rock and blues.
Love & Thunder 3:oo p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
After forming in 2012, it took almost a year to complete the line up for Love & Thunder. The band includes some of the area’s best musicians with several RAMI and Best of Rockford awards between them. Featuring male and female lead vocals, Love & Thunder plays not only the hottest new country music but also some of your favorite classic country songs.
The Relics 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Relics is a band of veteran musicians who grew up in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. We love this music and love playing. We bring you songs that bring back some great memories. Our objective is to “keep the party goin’”, and play tunes that most bands pass over.
Brian Lavender Band 9:00 p.m. to Midnight
Brian Lavender has shared the stage with artists Chase Rice, 38 Special, Josh Gracin, Ty Brown and many others. He has his own style and plays originals as well as music from current artists like Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw and others! Come on out your sure to hear your favorite.
Sunday, June 7th
The Ethan Bell Band 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Ethan Bell Band is the hottest new country band in the Chicagoland area. Playing music from artists like Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, and Florida Georgia Line they bring the fun to every venue they play! Led by the smooth vocals of Ethan Bell, the band plays a variety of styles ranging from new to old country, to blues, reggae, and party dance music.
