Over 250 players participated in a clinic last Saturday at Sycamore Park District’s Sports Complex sponsored by Crum-Halsted Insurance and the Retired Major League Players.
Former Cincinnati Reds player, two time World Series winner, and 1977 NL MVP, George Foster complimented Sycamore Park District on the quality of its fields in the public parks. 1983 Rookie of the Year and White Sox player, Ron Kittle, just loves getting out and working with kids. They were joined by 9 other retired MLB Players.
