Luxe Salon Welcomed Opportunity House Residents with Style as Part of Crossroads Community Church’s Love Our Neighbor Week. On Friday, July 20, 2018, residents of the Opportunity House in Sycamore enjoyed a bit of professional luxury at Luxe Salon as part of Crossroads Community Church’s “Love Our Neighbors” week, which took place July 15 – 22, 2018.
Kalrissa Taylor, Owner of Luxe Salon and Master Stylist, is always on the lookout for ways to use her business to give back to the community. “”We sponsor a blood drive every year in June – it’s a way for us to allow the community to give back in such a big way through such a small task such as giving blood and make an impact. Our stylists can give their clients a great look, before stepping right out front to donate! Our staff is also encouraged to donate when they have a chance throughout the day.”
When Taylor was considering ways in which Luxe Salon could participate in ‘Love Our Neighbors’ week, it was important to her that it be something her and her staff could participate in directly. That’s when they decided to invite residents of the Opportunity House in Sycamore to be their guests.
