You may have heard the expression, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” This statement reflects the challenge we all face in the journey of life, moving from one day to the next. In the story of the Good Samaritan, a person was injured and left to die along the road on his journey. Despite cultural barriers, the Samaritan showed care, concern, and commitment to this injured traveler in order to support him through the rest of the journey to safety.
