Building Leaders Advocating for Change

Building Leaders Advocating for Change, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth in Dekalb and the surrounding areas, helping them become their own advocates while overcoming adversity in an ever-changing world. From tutoring to Teen Talks, B.L.A.C., Inc.’s initiatives reflect our commitment to caring, encouraging, and equipping youth age 10 to 18 to take on leadership roles, while promoting participation in community service. With a focus on education and leadership, at B.L.A.C., Inc., we believe that all youth have the potential to become pillars of their communities. It is with this belief that we carry out our mission, offering programs that emphasize academics, inspire creativity, and foster growth. Our mission is to provide mental health, leadership development, community service, and educational support to at-risk teens 10-18 in DeKalb and the surrounding areas.
