Across the State of Illinois it is unfortunate that there are not enough licensed foster and emergency foster parents. Foster children are in desperate need of parents who are willing to take in a youth in care- children who may need an atmosphere and climate where they are protected, loved, have all of their essential needs met, where a child is taught to always have a positive outlook on life and where the caretaker will always put the best interest of the child first.
Join the folks at the Sycamore Library this Thursday, October 19th from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, as they discuss the myths and facts about being foster parent as well as a Q&A with a representative of the Illinois Foster Care System. No registration required for this free discussion. All ages welcomed.
