The League of Women Voters of DeKalb County will host the first of a series of Community Conversations next Monday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the back room of Pizza Pros at 1205 W. Lincoln Highway in DeKalb. Community Conversations will be informal discussions about topics of local interest to the public in DeKalb County. Anyone is welcome to attend and those participating can purchase what they wish from ordering off the menu. The first topic will be on requiring bail vs. releasing those accused of certain crimes on their signatures. The regular meeting of the League of Women Voters of DeKalb County will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1 in the Builder Room in the basement of the DeKalb Public Library. Anyone is welcome to attend regular meetings, too.
