KishHealth System is the proud sponsor of NIU Huskies’ Kick Off Kid. To select Kick Off Kids for the NIU Huskies Football season, KishHealth System is conducting several contests.
For the NIU homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 2:30 pm against Eastern Michigan, prospective Kick Off Kids are asked to create an advertisement for KishHealth System showing “How a Huskie Stays Healthy.” The winner of the advertisement contest will be chosen on Oct. 19.
To qualify to be entered in the contest for the Kick Off Kid, the child must be between the ages of 8 and 13 years old and not too shy to run out on the field at the start of the game. Additionally, the child must be available an hour before the game and can have up to five guests with him or her on the field.
The Create an Advertisement contest showing “How a Huskie Stays Healthy” rules are as follows: submissions need to be hand drawn, no larger than an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper. Submissions that are computer generated will not be included in the judging for the contest. Please, only one submission per child.
To enter the Create an Advertisement entries can be dropped off or mailed to Kishwaukee Hospital c/o Theresa Komitas, 1 Kish Hospital Drive, DeKalb, IL 60115. Submissions can also be emailed as a photo or a scanned copy of the drawing to tkomitas@kishhealth.org. So the winner can be notified, entries should include: parent/guardian name, telephone number, email address, child’s name and age.
