Kishwaukee College registration for the Spring 2017 semester is currently in progress. The Spring 2017 semester begins January 17.
Online registration is open to current students through myKC and can be completed at any time. Current students who need help selecting classes can stop by Advising Labs located in the Student Center, rooms C1118 and C2110, between 9:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. on Monday, January 9 through Thursday, January 12.
In-person registration can be completed in Enrollment Services C2100 in the Student Center. Students should come with a list of the courses they are requesting and alternates in case first choice classes and sections are full and/or closed. Students registering in-person must also present a photo ID before registering.
Enrollment Services is open Monday from 8:00a.m. – 6:00p.m.; Tuesday – Thursday from 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.; and Friday from 8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. Enrollment Services will also be open on Saturday, January 14 from 9:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. to accommodate students needing to register. Students who need to take placement testing, can contact Enrollment Services at 815-825- 9375 to set up an appointment.
Students are reminded that tuition is due by 11:59p.m. on the date of registration. Students may choose to enroll in the Kishwaukee Installment Payment Plan (KIPP) to set up a payment plan. Students anticipating receipt of financial aid may also enroll in the Deferred Financial Aid Payment Plan (DFAPP) if they meet eligibility requirements.
New students must have completed a Student Information Form before they can register. The New Student Information form is available on the College website and can be filled out online. In addition, TransVac will be offering two days of additional bus service prior to the start of the semester to assist students with registration. Service will be offered on Wednesday, January 11 and Thursday, January 12, from DeKalb. Buses will run the normal route with pick-up times at 8:00a.m.; 9:00a.m.; 10:00a.m.; and 1:00p.m. Buses will depart campus at 8:50a.m.; 9:50a.m.; 10:50a.m.; 12:50p.m.; 1:50p.m.; and 2:50p.m.
The cost for this added service is $2.00 per ride payable to the driver (bus passes will not be accepted on these two dates).
