Congressman Adam Kinzinger, 16th District (R), flew in to visit with the Kishwaukee College Aviation Club on Monday March 7. Kinzinger literally ‘flew’ in – the former Air Force pilot flew to Kishwaukee from Joliet that morning for the meeting. “It was about a two-minute flight,” he quipped. He spoke with the group, sharing the group’s enthusiasm for flight. Kinzinger also emphasized the importance of staying on course and following through to achieve their dreams, referencing his own journey to Congress as an example.
