Grab the kids and come to Brooks Elementary School in DeKalb this Monday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 for their ‘Kick Off to Summer’ event. Join them to celebrate the end of the school year with food and music on the school’s blacktop. Get involved in the activities planned and bring your lawn chairs or blankets and relax while you eat.
Buy a book at the school’s Book Fair and get another free! Star Gaze in to the Star Lab, shows are at 5:45, 6:15 and 6:45. Visit the vendor booths and get a free summer activity pack for the kids. Talk to your teachers and visit with other families as they get ready for summertime too. You can even register for school for next year if you’d like.
