Kishwaukee College is hosting the annual Kishwaukee College Fair on Wednesday, November 2, from 6:30 –8:00 p.m. in the College gymnasium with a special presentation at 6:00p.m. in Jenkins Auditorium on financing a college education. The College Fair and financial aid presentation are free and open to the public.
Each year, the Kishwaukee College Fair gives local students a chance to comparison shop post-high school options at colleges and universities by gathering information on academic programs, admissions requirements, and financial aid for several schools at a single location. At this year’s event, representatives from over 70 institutions, including colleges, universities, military programs, and trade schools, will be on hand to provide information materials and applications and answer questions. College shoppers will have access to representatives from Illinois schools as well as several out-of- state institutions from Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Colorado, plus more. The event is also recommended for Kishwaukee College students who are preparing to transfer to a four-year university.
One of the Kishwaukee College Fair’s most popular events is the financial aid presentation with a question and answer session. The financial aid presentation has been widely attended at the Kishwaukee College Fair in recent years, leaving standing room only in the auditorium.
