The Kishwaukee College Workforce and Continuing Education department is holding registration for Adult Education classes prior to the start of Fall Semester 2018. Registration will be held on 16 dates prior to the start of the semester; registration dates start Monday, July 30 and end Tuesday, September 4. For a complete listing of registration dates visit www.kish.edu/wce. Learners should allot at least three hours for registration, orientation, and assessment. Registration for classes is free.
Adult Education includes High School Equivalency (HSE)/GED and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. HSE/GED preparation classes prepare students for high school equivalency tests. Subject areas include reading, writing, social studies, science, math, and the Constitution with an emphasis on practical application and total development of the learner. ESL classes strengthen English reading, writing, and listening skills for employment, college, and student success. Instruction is provided for beginning, intermediate, and advanced level ESL learners.
Registration will start on campus in room C1210. If entering the building after 6:30 pm, use door #61 from parking lot B. Classes are offered at Kishwaukee College, as well as various community locations.
