Work off your holiday feast at the Sycamore Park District’s first Thanksgiving Weekend Shoot-out. All ages are welcome to participate for only $5 per person.
Fee includes a hotdog and beverage at the food court.
Three competitions will take place throughout the afternoon, beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 24.
Individual Free Throw Contest and Parent/Child Free Throw Contest
Free throw contests will be organized by age group with appropriate hoop height adjustments. Best out of 10 will advance. Includes warm up time. Fun Prizes for age group winners.
Jr. NBA Skills Local Challenge
For ages 13 and under. Groups organized by age and gender.
Participants will perform the following timed skills on a half court: Dribble from the start line to:
- ZIG-ZAG DRIBBLE;
- SPEED DRIBBLE;
- SHOOT,REBOUND, AND SCORE to make as many shots as possible in 60 seconds from the shooting spots
- FREE THROW.
Winners will advance to regional competition.
There’s plenty of room so bring your friends and family to cheer you on.
