Tails Humane Society will be participating in Clear the Shelters on Saturday, August 17 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. During this national event, the adoption fees will be waived for dogs and cats 6 months and older! That’s right! No adoption fee for all cats and dogs aged 6 months or older. 
We would really like for you to come meet your new best friend, so here are some helpful tips for the event!
If you rent, please bring your signed lease with your current address that matches your current ID. The lease must state you have landlord approval for the pet you’re adopting.
– If you’re adopting a pet into a family, please bring your family, not just one person representing the family.
– Many of our dogs will require a meet and greet with current dogs in the home. Please plan to bring your dog or complete meet and greets earlier in the week.
– The line starts early outside of Tails. Please plan ahead accordingly (bring a chair and/or water bottle) and assume there will be a waiting period outdoors.
– Holds will end at the close of business on Thursday.
– Promotion pricing ends at the close of business on Saturday.
– If you plan to adopt a cat, please bring a carrier. We will have them for $5 as well.
