Join in last push for matching funds for Egyptian Theatre Thursday

Join friends of the Egyptian Theater this Thursday, August 14th, 2014 at O’Leary’s Restaurant in Downtown DeKalb for a Social Night! Through August 15, 2014 every donation, sponsorship and membership is being matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor up to $25,000. O’Leary’s Pub & Grill in Downtown DeKalb is hosting a final night party Thursday that is a fundraiser for the Egyptian Theatre.

Purchase a $10 ticket in advance from the Egyptian Theatre and on August 14th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at O’Leary’s you get appetizers and two drinks with your ticket. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Egyptian Theatre and will be matched dollar for dollar. Or you can dine during those hours and mention the Egyptian Theatre for 20% of your check to go to the Theatre.

Don’t forget that a VERY generous anonymous donor has pledged $25,000 to the Egyptian Theatre if they can match that amount by August 15th. Double your donation this summer! This anonymous donor is extremely passionate about the Historic Egyptian Theatre and has stepped forward with a challenge for this summer. For every donation, sponsorship, or membership received through August 15, 2014 it will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000. The Egyptian Theatre’s goal is to raise at least $25,000 to be matched by $25,000 and hit their ultimate goal of $50,000 by August 15.

If doubling your donation this summer to benefit the historic Egyptian Theatre isn’t enough then they have surprise for you. Everyone who donates between now and August 15 will receive two FREE tickets to attend a special classic movie on Wednesday, December 10 to celebrate the 85th Anniversary of the Egyptian Theatre.

Eligible donations can be made online at www.egyptiantheatre.org, over the phone by calling 815-758-1215, or by mailing a check to “Egyptian Theatre” to PO Box 385, DeKalb, IL 60115. Donations eligible for matching funds include general donations of any amount, new or renewed memberships, and sponsorship’s from businesses/organizations.
