This coming Saturday, June 10, 2017, marks a special race for Sycamore Speedway. This is the weekend for a special race that was created in honor of the 2 founders of Sycamore Speedway, creating the Joe & Nick Memorial.
“This is the house that brothers Joe and Nick built, and has been called home to many over the years. In 1961 these two brothers sat down and decided to build their dream and HERE WE ARE TODAY!!!! Our family has grown and developed here as have many of yours.” said Tiffany Gerace, Promoter as well as granddaugher to Joe and great niece to Nick.
This year the race will be 54 laps for the Single Late Model Plus Dirt Late Models. The number of laps represents the years the speedway has been open as a stock car racetrack. They also welcome all Saturday classes; Super Late Models, Street Stocks (fka Late Models), Pure Stock and Hornets (fka Modified Compact). Pit Gate Opens at 4pm. Gates open at 6pm.
As a special treat, if you can’t attend the Joe & Nick Memorial, you can now stream from home! FloRacing content is now available on Roku and Apple TV 4 with the to catch all of the live action and archived footage of the big event!
